Our team of instructors have years of experience in hockey and provide great tips, advice and insight. Our head instructors have extensive playing and/or coaching experience and are able to correct improper technique, provide clear instructions and demonstrations, and provide excellent skill demonstrations.
Our teacher to student ratio is always low in order to provide one on one instruction allowing our students to maximize their potential.
Owner and Head Instructor Tara McKay hand picks her instructors. Tara has an educational background in Exercise Science and Kinesiology, playing experience at the highest level of women’s hockey in Canada for 15 years, and 17 years of teaching experience. Tara’s great passion for skating, hockey and teaching is easily shown when she is on the ice in her enthusiasm and positive motivation with the players.
