Our team training programs are aimed at developing players to their full potential by focusing on skating and skill development. Program content follows the Hockey Canada Long Term Player Development guidelines, which provides a guideline for appropriate skill development at the appropriate age.
Programs are tailored for each team with scheduling and budgetary considerations. Tara has worked with several teams over the years from house league to AAA.
Providing additional team training for skating and skill development ensures players are maximizing their potential. It is difficult for coaches to develop skating and individual skills with 1-2 practices per week.
Programs can be set up on team ice or by securing additional ice. Frequency can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly or a set number of sessions that we can fit into your schedule.
Several teams have already set up a power skating program with Tara including ice and Tara’s instruction for the 2011-2012 season. Please contact Tara to discuss a potential program.
